The good and bad thing about being married and both of our families being so close to each other is that we rush from one event to the next, especially when we are visiting from out of town and trying to see all our extended family. We spent Christmas Eve morning with Steve's family at the mall in line to see Santa. Poor James was terrified of him but it might have had something to do with us just waking him up. We'll try again next year when he's less tired.
We started off Christmas Eve night with Steve's Glauser family at his parents house. We stayed for dinner and some chatting with family members and then we braved the snowy roads and drove to my Ostler grandparents' house for a Christmas program, white elephant and gifts.
