Lately...

Here's what we've been up to lately, at least what we've been up to that we've taken pictures of:

Steve's Mock Trial competition at a real courthouse in downtown DC with partner Simon. He was awesome and made the Mock Trial Board (top 15%). I am a very proud wife and loved getting to watch him in action!

With the warmer weather that sporadically appears, James and I have taken to exploring our city. We spent one morning walking around the monuments on the west side of The Mall-- the Lincoln, the Reflecting Pool and the Korean War Monument

James LOVES the bath. One time he kept standing up and then sitting down hard and splashing all over. He thought it was hilarious. It only happened one night, but luckily we had the camera close by. Love him.

Also, Steve and our friends has the most awesome idea for a date night. We got together with three other couples to try cupcakes from different shops around DC and Virginia (there are so many). Our friend Miranda executed a perfectly delightful evening and she writes about it here. For the record, my favorites were Baked &Wired for cake, Georgetown Cupcake for frosting and Sprinkles overall. They were all delicious though and it was so fun to try so many different shops!
