my grandparents bought a condo right off balboa island several years ago. it has been such a blast to have a place to play tennis, swim and gather as a family. we went to the pool every day after the beach and it was so much better than fighting over showers at home and having sand all over your bedroom. we're sorry to the folks at sea island for the amount of sand in the hot tub. we did shower before, but it is amazing how much sand a shower doesn't get off sometimes.
