After we left Orlando we drove to Sanibel Island, which is located on the gulf coast of Florida--close to Fort Meyers. We actually stayed on its little next door friend island called Captiva Island, but one day we drove to the other end and visited the Sanibel Island Lighthouse. I have a thing for lighthouses, they are so lovely and this one was no exception.
The beaches here are made up almost entirely of shells.
