Christmas Eve

Yup. Still blogging about Christmas. It hasn't even been a month so I don't feel too bad. We split our Christmas Eve between our two families this year. When we are only in town for a couple weeks we want to see as much of our family as possible, so we started off the night with Steve's Glauser family for a fantastic dinner. No pictures taken because we were too busy eating!

We then made our way across the Salt Lake valley to my Ostler grandparents' house for a white elephant and a little program.  James loved the white elephant. He kept trying to sneak gifts from the pile. When it was finally his turn he opened a gift that contained a whole package of oreos. His face was priceless and I don't know if I have ever seen him so excited. He insisted on opening it right away and we couldn't very well refuse because it was Christmas Eve.

Oreos!

He was also excited about dad's Sea Monkeys and his toy car

And Richie's sugar babies got him really pumped

My cute cousin Abby is due a couple weeks before me! Excited for these two little boy cousins!

We spend Christmas Eve night with Steve's family. Here we are opening up our Christmas Eve pajamas--one of my favorite traditions! We really missed Steve's sister Eliza who spent Christmas in the MTC. She leaves for South Korea in February.
