Florida Part 3

Feeding the birds from our goldfish stores. It got real scary real fast for James.
We had some lovely sunny beach days on our trip, but we also had a few days that were a little bit colder and overcast. It was on one of these days that we rented boats and took a little water tour around the islands. This boat ride was especially memorable because 1. it was James' first time wearing a life jacket--which did not go over well and 2. we saw dolphins up close and personal. It was so neat, and once he realized we werent' going to let him out of the lifejacket, James loved it.

The first ten minutes he screamed because he hated the lifejacket so much.

But once we saw the dolphins he changed his mind and decided to be happy.

These dolphins played in the wake of our boar for a good fifteen minutes. It was magical. There were three of them and they took turns showing off for us. I have never seen dolphins in nature this close before!

That's my mom, but the other guy isn't my dad- my dad was there, just not pictured.

James finally got to drive the boat. I think that's what he wanted all along.

And a cheesy family picture in front of the smallest museum i've ever seen. The manatee was cool though!
