We spent a day downtown at the Smithsonian museums--Natural History and American History which might be my two favorites. We ate lunch on the mall and watched the billions of tourists go by. Spring Break in DC is crazy. We also ventured up to the White House, which as many times as you see it in photographs and on TV is rather stunning in person. Especially when the trees are starting to blossom. And you always run into interesting people there. This time was no exception.
