We live in kind of an interesting area. There are a lot of apartment buildings, auto repair shops, strip malls, etc., plus we are on a big, busy street. I wasn't too crazy about the area when we first got here. Our apartment complex is great and safe and nice, but I felt like there wasn't really anywhere we could walk. Last week we discovered this amazing park just a few minute walk from our apartment. We have to go on the busy street for a little bit, but once we are in the park, it is quiet and beautiful and you easily forget you are living in a big city. So far we've seen deer, fish, and a little red fox. I'm so excited to take advantage of such a beautiful place so nearby.
