Shenandoah

A couple Sundays ago we took a lovely drive through Shenandoah National Park with our good friends. It's about an hour and a half drive north of D.C. and I have had it on my bucket list for awhile now. We tried to time it right and go when fall had come in full force.

It was a gorgeous, crisp fall day and the views were spectacular. Sometimes its so nice to get out of the city and remember what nature feels like. It made me miss our Utah mountains, which are especially gorgeous in the fall. But I'm certainly grateful that we have beautiful places like Shenandoah so close to us in D.C.
