I kept seeing other versions pop up especially in nursery pictures and I decided that I was going to make my own for over our little guy's crib. I downloaded the pattern from the Spool website and followed the directions for sewing the birds. It was pretty easy and the sewing didn't take too much time. The hard part was getting the darn birds to sit and stay up on the branches and then to make it all work without the branches going every which way. It was definitely a balancing act and caused a little bit of frustration, but I'm really glad with the way it turned out! Don't get the wrong impression . . . I am not one of those crafty people who whips up awesome stuff without any pain or difficulty. It is a very rare occasion for me to start and finish a project like this. Which is why I'm blogging about it
